The Cadiz Carnival is recognized as a Festival of International Tourist Interest and attracts thousands of visitors from all over Spain and abroad every year. The festival is famous for its satirical songs, street performances and carnival group competitions.
The carnival programme includes parades, music shows, performances by chirigotas and comparsas, as well as the official carnival group competition, which takes place at the Gran Teatro Fallas.
